Dr Rowan Keighran
Neuropsychiatrist

Dr Keighran completed his medical degree with Honours at the University of New South Wales and subsequently trained in Psychiatry, later undertaking subspecialty posts at the Neuropsychiatric Institute (NPI), Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry (3DN), and Hunter New England Neuropsychiatry Service. He was awarded a Fellowship in Intellectual Disability Mental Health by the New South Wales Institute of Psychiatry in 2014 and completed his Master of Psychiatry with Director's List of Academic Excellence in 2015.
Dr Keighran currently works as a Staff Specialist in Neuropsychiatry where he oversees the State's largest inpatient neuropsychiatric ward. Having worked across several private practice settings, including the Black Dog Institute, he spearheaded the development of Seriph Clinics in 2021 to address the often unmet needs of patients with complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
Dr Keighran is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). He is an accredited RANZCP supervisor for psychiatry registrars and provides Neuropsychiatry teaching for the formal education programme.
Dr Keighran sees patients from age 17 upwards. His clinical interests include intellectual disability mental health, autism spectrum disorder, adult ADHD, seizure disorders, dementia and cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injury, and general psychiatric disorders.
Dr Pramudie Gunaratne

Dr Gunaratne completed a double degree in Medicine and International Relations at the University of New South Wales. She went on to finish a Master in Medicine (Psychiatry) at the University of Sydney and Master in Science (Public Health) at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, from which she graduated with the University of London 150th Anniversary Prize for Academic Achievement and attained the top mark in her cohort.
Dr Gunaratne is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP). She is the current Chair of the NSW Branch of the RANZCP and recently completed a term with the Board of Directors for the RANZCP bi-nationally. She co-founded Seriph Clinics and additionally holds an appointment as a Research Fellow at the Department of Developmental Disability Neuropsychiatry (3DN).
Dr Gunaratne has worked in the public health sector across multiple sites in Sydney. She was awarded a Fellowship in Intellectual Disability Neuropsychiatry by the Health Education and Training Institute. She has worked as a consultant to the Brain Health Unit at the World Health Organization in Geneva and as the Registrar to the Chief Psychiatrist at the NSW Ministry of Health. She has received multiple awards, including the World Psychiatric Association Early Career Psychiatrists Fellowship and has published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.

Dr Nagendra is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP), with additional subspecialty qualification from the RANZCP Faculty of Psychiatry of Old Age. She earned her undergraduate medical degrees in 2006 at the University of New South Wales and has been awarded a Master of Psychiatry.
Dr Nagendra currently works in private practice on the lower north shore. Prior to this, she worked in the public sector for over 15 years. She was a Staff Specialist for Sydney Local Health District where she led geriatric and general adult consultation-liaison teams across multiple Sydney hospitals, with additional responsibilities for the development and clinical management of community outreach teams, including telehealth services to rural NSW.
Dr Nagendra's research has been published internationally and she has been an invited speaker to both local and international conferences. She had an active role in teaching and supervising psychiatry registrars, physician trainees, and junior doctors in the public sector. She was a panel member for the RANZCP trainee interview programme. She also served as the NSW Health geriatric psychiatrist delegate for a state-wide governance committee.
Dr Nagendra is skilled in talking therapies and medication management. She sees patients from age 18 upwards. She has expertise in the diagnosis and management of cognitive disorders and dementia, as well as the psychiatric care of older adults. She has a particular interest in women's mental health in the perimenopausal period, major mood and anxiety disorders in adulthood, and adult ADHD.

Dr Janani Nagendra
Dr Conway completed her medical degree with Honours at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle, before undertaking specialised training in Psychiatry. She further honed her expertise with subspecialty roles in Forensic Psychiatry at the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network, as well as the Northern Sydney Intellectual Disability Mental Health Service.
Dr Conway holds a Master of Psychiatry with First Class Honours from the University of Melbourne and is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy at the University of New South Wales. She has received numerous accolades throughout her career, including the prestigious John Flynn Scholarship and the Royal Perth Hospital Junior Doctor Excellence Award.
With clinical experience across public and private healthcare settings in three Australian states, Dr Conway has worked in diverse environments, from public hospitals to maximum-security custodial settings. She has also treated forensic patients at the high-security Forensic Hospital in Malabar and has served as an expert witness in the Local and District Courts of New South Wales.
Dr Conway is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and has held leadership roles, including Chief Registrar of the Justice Health Forensic Mental Health Network. She is an accredited RANZCP supervisor and has contributed to the training of future Psychiatrists as a panel member for the RANZCP trainee interview programme and forensic advanced training.
Dr Conway provides psychiatric care for patients aged 17 and older, with a particular focus on intellectual disability mental health, complex behavioural issues, autism spectrum disorder, adult ADHD, seizure disorders, dementia and cognitive disorders, traumatic brain injury, and general psychiatric conditions.

Jaci completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology (with Honours), receiving the Vice Chancellor's Award for Excellence at the University of Newcastle. She then completed a Master of Clinical Neuropsychology at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has worked in the public sector and private practice for over 15 years, running her own private practice throughout that period. She contributed to the development of a National Schizophrenia Research database, working in a clinical assessment capacity.
Jaci has a specific interest in complex presentations requiring neuropsychological assessment to assist with diagnosis and treatment planning. She has over 10 years of experience working in the fields of Neuropsychiatry, Neurology, and Gerontology, including assessment and diagnosis of dementia, mild cognitive impairment, stroke, concussion, traumatic/acquired brain injury (TBI/ABI), adult and teen ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, and other complex neuropsychiatric conditions.
Jaci offers private consultations for screening, assessment, and diagnosis of patients from age 17 years upwards, at the request of referring doctors and specialists. Her clinical interests span dementia in all presentations (including in intellectual disability), teen and adult ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, TBI/ABI, and complex neuropsychiatric presentations.
